Apart from composing soundtracks to films Marcello De Francisci has been establishing himself as a producer for acclaimed artists where he co-writes, performs, records, mixes, and master engineers entire album projects from the ground up. Below are some of the collaborations he has been involved with.
Marcello has worked on numerous projects with Lisa Gerrard including three albums titled ‘Departum’, ‘Twilight Kingdom’ and ‘Exaudia’ furthermore both have been awarded two ‘Soundtrack of the Year’ APRA awards for their musical scores to films like ‘Balibo’, ‘Burning Man’, in addition to, two Australian ‘Critics Choice’ awards for ‘Balibo’ and ‘Oranges & Sunshine’. Lisa and Marcello are currently working on the soundtrack score to the Nepalese film ‘Gunyo Cholo’ and are in development of their third solo album titled ‘The Poetry Of Life’ scheduled to be released in the coming months.
Artist Name: Lisa Gerrard
Academy Award nominee & Golden Globe winner for co-composing the soundtrack score to Ridley Scott’s film ‘Gladiator’ alongside Hans Zimmer, and legendary singer, songwriter & band member of ‘Dead Can Dance’. Lisa’s vocal performances have recently been featured in films like ‘Ferrari’ starring Adam Driver & Penelope Cruz and Denis Villeneuve’s latest ‘Dune II’ installment. Her work as a composer is also featured in films like ‘Mohammed Ali’, ‘The Insider’, ‘Heat’, and Niki Caro’s ‘Whale Rider‘. She currently tours with the ‘Hans Zimmer Live’ group.
Artist Name: Hila Plitmann
Soprano | Two-Time Grammy Award Winner | Classical Music Genre | Hila has collaborated on numerous tracks with Marcello De Francisci, some are featured on his album ‘Sovereign’ distributed through Sonic Elixir-APM Music. A native of Jerusalem, Israel – Hila Plitmann has had a long-standing career as a soprano in the modern classical world while making a cross over to the cinematic soundtrack arena by performing vocals for composers like Hans Zimmer, Jeff Beal, and Eric Whitacre. She is featured on multiple contemporary operas, in addition to, soundtrack scores including Zack Snyder’s ‘Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, ‘The Da Vinci Code’ and ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides’.
Artist Name: Tanja Xena Tzarovska
Tanja collaborated with Marcello De Francisci on the tracks titled ‘Til The End of Time’ and ‘Aramea (Of Kings & Pharaohs)‘, which are featured on the album ‘E P I C A’ distributed through Sonic Elixir-APM Music. She is of Macedonian descent whose vocal performances are also featured on the film soundtrack scores to Mel Gibson’s ‘The Passion of The Christ’ and Wolfgang Petersen’s ‘Troy’.
Artist Name: Bahar Shah
Bahar Shah sang a duet with Lisa Gerrard on the track ‘Stories of Love, Triumph & Misfortunes’ featured on the album ‘Exaudia’ distributed through Atlantic Curve | Schubert Music Publishing. She is a vocalist of Persian descent and a longtime collaborator of Marcello De Francisci, who has worked with him on multiple film scores and album projects. Her vocals are featured on the TV Spot #8 for the trailer to ‘Exodus’: Gods & Kings directed by Ridley Scott, in addition, has sang on the albums ‘Sovereign’ distributed through Sonic Elixir-APM Music, ‘One Big World’ for the band ‘Indie Monastery’, and ‘Ante Diem’ distributed through Imperativa Records.

Artist Name: Sangueeta Kaur
Is a Grammy Award winning Vietnamese American classical/crossover, new age vocalist. She sang on the track ‘The Crownless Again Shall Be King’ featured in the album ‘EPICA’ distributed through Sonic Elixir-APM Music. Artist Name: Aya Peard
Is a singer/vocalist who appears on various Two Steps From Hell albums. Outside of Two Steps From Hell, she has done vocal work for many other artists, such as Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds. She has also released her album entitled Paradise Hiding. Aya sang on the soundtrack score to ‘Angels of Darkness – Styria’ and the track ‘Rex Imperium’ composed by Marcello De Francisci for the album ‘Triumph’ released through Trailerhead.
